Overview:

Responsibilities:

Lead a team responsible for engaging with industry inquiries and providing guidance to businesses seeking to do business with the DoD.
Oversee a communications team responsible for managing public content, website design, and the overall communications strategy for the OSBP.
Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
Directly support and attend outreach events organized by the OSBP.
Manage the team's involvement in speaking events, coordinating speakers, drafting presentations, and ensuring the creation of impactful outreach materials.
Ensure all outreach efforts align with the goals and objectives of the OSBP.
Maintain and manage a comprehensive calendar of OSBP outreach events.
Coordinate content for events, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the OSBP.
Oversee the communications team in crafting and disseminating key messages to enhance the public image of the office.
Direct the communications team in managing all publicly released content, including website content and design.
Supervise the creation of written materials, speeches, and talking points to ensure consistency and alignment with OSBP goals.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of outreach efforts.
Liaise with the Government Program Lead to align communication strategies with program goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in team management, particularly in outreach and communication roles.
Indepth knowledge of government procurement processes, especially within the Department of Defense.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
