Responsibilities:

Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators. Replace or repair damaged pool tiles or liners.

Water Quality Testing: Regularly test water quality and adjust chemicals to maintain proper pH and chlorine levels to ensure swimmer safety.

Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and systems to ensure everything is operating efficiently and safely.

Customer Service: Communicate with pool owners and facility managers regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and water quality issues.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, chemical levels, and repairs for each client or facility.
Requirements:

Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a recognized pool maintenance course is highly desirable.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting heavy equipment, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Other: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel to different sites is required.
