- Welding using MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick processes.
- Passing MIG & Flux core pipe test and TIG tests (visual and x-ray).
- Reading and understanding blueprints.
- Operating basic cutting equipment, including flame and plasma cutting torches.
- Performing position welds on code materials.
- Setting up and operating advanced welding equipment.
- Solving problems and eliminating scrap, rework, and downtime while repairing defective products to high-quality standards.

Location: Tulsa, Broken Arrow, or Catoosa
Test Types: Stick Test- 12" Pipe 6G downhill Mig 80D2 wire then 8018 stick uphill hot pass fill and cap Xray 100% then send to lab for NDT. If Pass, then take 12" on 12" branch test same stick procedure| 6G Test| Open Root 3G MIG/ Flux core Fill in Cap Test and a 6G TIG Root Flux Fill in cap on 2-inch Schedule 160.
Job Description:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
As a Pipe Welder, you will prepare, align, and assemble components for welding. Using electric arc-welding equipment, you will weld metal elements such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and structural shapes based on layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, welding procedures, or verbal instructions. You will also plan installations and repairs to prevent obstructions and minimize disruptions. Securing pipes to structures using hand and power tools, you will ensure structural integrity. Your welding will cover flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
