Description

Position: Android Mobile Phone Tester-Power Consumption

Department: Testing Department

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct power consumption testing on Android mobile phones, including setting up testing environments and establishing power consumption testing capabilities.
  2. Analyze and troubleshoot power consumption issues in various modules of the mobile phone, and develop and maintain testing plans.
  3. Write test reports, analyze test results and bugs, and drive the resolution of issues.
  4. Ability to test the power consumption of the entire mobile phone and individual components, and participate in the development of power consumption standards.
  5. Evaluate the power consumption of new platforms, primarily responsible for reviewing and evaluating power consumption, and providing feasibility assessment reports.
  6. Improve the overall power consumption testing capabilities of the team.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in testing Android mobile phones, with knowledge of power consumption standards and specifications.
  2. Familiarity with different levels and modules of the mobile phone system, deep understanding of power consumption principles, and knowledge of power management, wake-up, Doze, Thermal strategies, etc.
  3. Knowledge of testing theories, strategies, test case design methods, and other related techniques.
  4. Proficiency in using power monitors and programmable power sources such as Agilent 66319D.
