- Execute all job tasks safely, developing and implementing equipment and processes that adhere to safety standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of asset changes and supporting processes to meet platform objectives.
- Build expertise in engineering principles to support platform goals; collaborate with senior engineers to enhance technical knowledge.
- Maintain data security and documentation integrity to safeguard proprietary information.
- Identify and solve problems or opportunities to achieve platform objectives.
- Offer electrical engineering support to address process and equipment issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
- Aid in the professional development of team members while fostering a diverse and respectful work environment.
- Enhance equipment capabilities to minimize defects, achieve business goals, and promote a culture of respect and continuous improvement.
- Apply electrical engineering principles within a hands-on, high-speed manufacturing setting.
- Hold a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a 2-year Electrical Tech degree with 5-10 years of practical experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in collaborating within cross-functional teams to meet objectives efficiently.
- Experience in presenting updates to mill leadership.
- 2+ years of diverse experience in mill manufacturing, staff support, or capital projects, including working with KC personal care production facilities.
- Experience with external technical service providers and familiarity with high-speed manufacturing equipment startups.
- Basic knowledge of various technical areas including Inspection, HMI, Electrical Safety Systems, and more.
- Minimal travel required (0-5%) with a possibility of shift coverage assignments to support projects.

The open position is for an asset-focused electrical engineer dedicated to supporting one of the pads platforms. The chosen engineer will spearhead improvement initiatives for two to three pad assets at NCSF and will report to the engineering team leader.
