- Demonstrate safety leadership by complying with all safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepare documentation to initiate capital projects, including engineering requests, estimates, and capital expenditure authorization.
- Follow capital projects from conception to implementation, including cost tracking.
- Identify customer needs, safety concerns, and project requirements, developing and evaluating alternate solutions to define project scope.
- Coordinate and assemble engineering package/project documentation based on managerial direction.
- Provide purchasing services for project materials, including vendor review, contact, purchase order issuance, and delivery coordination.
- Manage project costs, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.
- Interface with internal and external parties to ensure equipment safety, timely production, and adherence to specifications.
- Assist with installation, checkout, start-up, and training as necessary.
- Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for plant machinery breakdowns.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in electrical project engineering.
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of electrical programming software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
