- Support the controller's and finance departments by providing recommendations on accounting treatment for complex issues and transactions following US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
- Cultivate strong relationships with collaborators across the organization, external auditors, and other stakeholders to align on common business objectives.
- Drive the development, modification, and implementation of company policies impacting operations, ensuring adherence to internal control objectives.
- Propose enhancements to internal accounting procedures and policies.
- Lead in addressing complex accounting issues, preparing statutory deliverables, and mentoring employees in technical accounting and reporting.
- Offer coaching and support to team members.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, including public accounting and/or auditing.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA certification.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SAP accounting principles, as well as proficiency in financial analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in researching complex accounting issues and composing detailed whitepapers.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating and providing solutions to accounting matters.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet crucial deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for influencing and effective communication internally and externally.

- Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft/Hyperion report writing is advantageous.

The national average salary range for this role is $129,780-$144,200, subject to location-based compensation. Salaries are determined based on the county of residence, with a full range of $116,910-$173,200 across all states where we operate. Additionally, this position includes an annual discretionary bonus of up to 12% through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
If selected to proceed in the recruitment process, we will discuss the salary/hourly rate range based on your location during the initial call. Factors such as experience, education, and location will influence the final salary offer.
This role is open for remote work anywhere in the United States, except Hawaii and Alaska. Candidates must have indefinite work authorization in the US.
