    Great Shift Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

    As Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that it is cooked to perfection and meets our guests' expectations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare food items according to our brand recipe and ensure food quality meets company standards
    • Ensure that food items are cooked to order, adjusting cooking times and temperatures as needed
    • Work in coordination with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed promptly
    • Operate and maintain grill equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition
    • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen consistently throughout the shift, including regular cleaning of back of house walls, counters, and work surfaces
    • Sanitizing kitchen utensils, walk-in cooler/freezer upkeep, emptying trash cans, sweeping/mopping floors, adhering to all food safety standards
    • Assist in inventory management, including scheduling/ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels of the kitchen materials.
    • Maintain a memorized knowledge of the menu, prices, and ingredients; keep abreast of modifications as necessary.
    • Assist with conducting detailed daily inventory counts.
    • Ensure meat coolers are stocked properly and consistently throughout the shift, as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required by upper management

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    • Previous experience as a grill cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
    • Excellent knowledge of grilling techniques and cooking temperatures
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift (up to) 50lbs
    • Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays

    Compensation:

    • The pay range will vary depending on experience and qualifications
    • Anticipated range: $15.50 to 16.50 an hour (+ Tips, avg. $19 to $20 inc. Tips)
