Description
The Events/Development/Alumni Coordinator is appointed by the Head of School and reports directly to the Head of School. The EDA Coordinator will coordinate, plan, and organize fundraising events, campaigns, or projects. The EDA Coordinator is also responsible for every part of event preparations and evaluating success afterwards.

The EDA Coordinator manages the execution, direction, and coordination of all Alumni engagement events and fosters excellent Alumni relations with HCS.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategic development of an ongoing calendar of events and activations to improve community and audience engagement.
  • Handle endtoend event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, timeline development, and onsite coordination.
  • Create a marketing strategy to ensure a successful turnout and engagement of attendees.
  • Manage event budgets and handle accounting needs including expense submissions, invoicing, payments, organization, and tracking.
  • Secure cost estimates of different items, products, and services for vendors related to the upcoming event.
  • In charge of securing swag bags for guests for the event.
  • Be the main point of contact and main information collector.
  • Provide suggestions on how to improve the event implementation strategy.
  • Manage timelines to ensure event deliverables are on time.
  • Coordinate and lead volunteers and staff for events.
  • Conduct postevent followups, evaluations, and relationships with vendors and sponsors.
  • Conduct community outreach programs and events to promote and publicize HCS.
  • Perform clerical and administrative functions, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement alumni reengagement strategy to meet strategic plan goal by increasing number of alumni volunteers and alumni donors.
  • Promote contribution income campaigns to HCS Alumni.
  • Establish and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Alumni and eternal contacts.
  • Maintain orderly and accurate Alumni records.
  • Accurately record, track, and report Alumni donations.
  • Manages the execution, direction, and coordination of all Alumni events including reunions and open houses.
  • Manage a portfolio of sponsors that support events and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director on consistent messaging and branding of HCS to external and internal audiences.
  • May perform specialized fundraising activities in direct support of the accomplishments of the advancement of HCS's mission and program objectives.
  • Fulfill all other responsibilities as required by the Head of School.

Pay:
$42, $48,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:
