Responsibilities:


Manage all onboarding tasks and projects, coordinating marketing team, accounting team and operations team to ensure new on boarded facilities meet our requirements.

Manage the onboard from origination of contract to first day of operations and additional 12 weeks or as necessary.

Onboarding includes database management, setting up office and acquiring all supplies, equipment and furnishings, creating construction punch lists, assisting with training new staff and potentially covering facilities without staff or continued staffing issues.

Pre-travel required prior to onboarding.

Yearly planning with all facilities regarding capital expense projects and plan out assigned projects with area teams. Work directly with owner groups and senior staff to set goals for physical facilities.

Assist regions maintenance and capital expenditure projects.

Serve as a backup and problem solver, "fixer" at facilities remotely when applicable or in person as required, some travel required when necessary to manage facility and situation.

Will be directed, reviewed and assigned by operations manager.


SUMMARY:


The onboard specialist will be responsible for setting up all new onboard facilities, coordinate and oversee the operations tasks in the organization ensuring the implementation of the facility as well as auditing and supporting existing facilities.


Qualifications/Skills:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding the practical use of information
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds.
  • Requires good handeye coordination, armhandfinger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience required
  • 23 years' experience in storage required. Working knowledge and experience in property management or big box retailer.
  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and dependable personal transportation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand
  • Must be physically able to stand for long periods and be able to move about freely, stoop/bend, and walk; frequent reaching/pulling/pushing and repetitive motions.
  • Work in all outdoor conditions
