The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on August 19, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3-year apprenticeship program as an Electrical Systems Installer (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Berlin. The vocational school is located in Berlin Marzahn-Springpfuhl and the training workshop is in Berlin-Schöneweide.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • Become an expert in installing and assembling the power rail for the S-Bahn Berlin/Hamburg and safety systems
  • Your tasks will include cable work, maintenance, and construction of power rail systems for the DB AG's S-Bahn trains in Hamburg and Berlin, which operate on direct current
  • Learn about measurement and testing techniques and how to document them professionally
  • Gain experience in planning and preparing orders
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
  • Office work is not for you - you prefer to work outdoors
  • You welcome the opportunity to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
  • You are interested in technical and scientific subjects
