    Transportation Engineer/Project Manager P5
    Miami, FL 33156
    We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Orlando or Miami, FL offices.

    As a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager, enjoy responsibilities that may include:

    • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
    • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
    • Project engineering and management.
    • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
    • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
    • Professional society involvement.

    We are considering candidates to join our team as a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager, that meet the following basic qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
    • Knowledge of FDOT design and standards.
    • PE license in FL.
    • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
    • Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation a plus.
    • Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred.
    • Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
