- Staff Accountant - Hartford, CT
- Conduct regular G/L account entry activity
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the established schedule and with input from the rest of accounting department.
- Reconcile bank statement
- Reconcile balance sheet account monthly, research and solve discrepancies
- Assist in audit activities
- Assist accounting team in special projects and assignments as required.
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting
- 2-3 yrs staff accounting experience with a small to medium size company
- Fluent in Microsoft office, excel, word, etc
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-company environment
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- MAS90 - MAS200 experience preferred

Due to multiple recent acquisitions and growth, we're looking to add a detail oriented Staff accountant to our team. The successful applicant should have experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation.
