Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at IMH Products, you'll have the opportunity to learn and assist us with CNC programming for our lasers, punch presses, and press brakes.

You will also help with quality control inspections, ensuring our products meet the highest standards. Additionally, you'll be a critical contributor in several ongoing continuous improvement projects.

This position is perfect for a junior or senior in college with CAD experience, providing hands-on experience in critical areas of our sheet metal fabrication operations.

Job Duties

CNC Programming:
Assist with the programming of our lasers, punch presses, and press brakes.

Quality Control:
Assist in quality control and inspection processes to ensure that fabricated parts meet specifications and industry standards.

Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of manufacturing techniques.
Qualifications

Current enrollment in a relevant engineering program or recent graduate in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
Basic understanding of CAD software is a requirement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere.

Ability to walk or stand 8 hours a day. Ability to lift, push, pull or move 50 pounds. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
