Description

Company Description:

We are creating the future of brain-computer interfaces: building devices now that have the potential to help people with paralysis regain mobility and independence and invent new technologies that could expand our abilities, our community, and our world.

Team Description:

The Surgery Research and Development team is responsible for ensuring Neuralink's various implanted devices are installed safely and efficiently. Our team's job extends beyond electrode insertion. We must own the entire surgery experience of a potential Neuralink customer in a way that scales.

While our initial focus was electrode implantation, we recognize that the full user experience of obtaining Neuralink devices must be safe, quick, and non-traumatic for them to truly help the millions we hope it can.

  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize a successful outcome
