CAMP is a Family Experience Company that helps answer the question, "What should we do today?" through a unique combination of retail, media, and entertainment.

Launched in 2018, CAMP operates eight retail locations in Atlanta, California, Connecticut, Chicago, Massachusetts, Washington D.C, New York and Texas and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.


What is the Role?
Salary range between $115,000 to $150,000 (commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications )


What will you do at CAMP?

Develop Great People

  • Build, inspire and lead a team of General Managers dedicated to delivering an experience that connects with our customers and builds a community in each location
  • Coach and cultivate field leadership teams to create a strong, feedbackdriven performance culture at their locations and a motivated workforce.
  • Travel to various locations as needed to ensure proper execution of the field strategy

Drive Store Performance

  • Monitor and analyze retail key performance metrics. Work closely which each store GM to ensure they are learned on metrics and held accountable to meet financial goals related to their P&L
  • Drive profitability by ensuring our field members are setting, meeting or exceeding sales goals, managing costs, delivering outstanding customer service and providing helpful insights back to the corporate team.
  • Establish performance goals for all direct reports and monitor performance on a continuous basis
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising strategies align with company expectations and support sales targets

Deliver on the Customer Promise

  • Work closely with store teams to ensure the Camp customer experience is upheld, synced across retail and show, and successful in developing magical encounters and individual relationships with guests that brings them back over and over again
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement ideas and policies for scalable improvements

Manage Corporate, Client and Partner Relationships with Stores

  • Oversee and improve effective, streamlined store communications with corporate teams, clients and key strategic partners
  • Work closely with Corporate teams including: Merchandising, People and Culture, Experience, Operations and Partnerships to encourage insights, collaboration and optimizations that will ensure an efficient and sensible retail operation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders contributing to each store's operation and success

  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills to successfully implement strategic initiatives from initial idea through execution
  • Strong quantitative, analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • 3+ years of managing multiunit retail / experiences
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older and are authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • 20% +/ Travel to various locations as needed to ensure proper execution of the field strategy
