Position Information

The Classroom And Events Space Coordinator provides administrative leadership, problem solving, and strategic execution in optimizing use of the School of Medicine's (SOM) classrooms and instructional spaces for classes, curricular activities and events, and in working with the UCR Campus to share SOM classroom space for non-SOM courses within the agreed upon parameters.

This includes serving as the SOM's scheduling software (25 Live) superuser to manage scheduling of all classroom spaces as well as collecting and analyzing relevant data needed to ensure the smooth functioning and maximal usage of rooms.

Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities and Operations and working across academic and administrative departments, the incumbent will be responsible for managing classroom usage, and will have the authority to schedule rooms for educational and non-educational purposes, in alignment with relevant SOM space policy and the agreement with the UCR campus on classroom space.

The Classroom And Events Space Coordinator is responsible for developing a plan for utilization of space that addresses stakeholder needs while simultaneously serving institutional priorities.

The Classroom And Events Space Coordinator will also assist with operational functions as assigned and provide high quality customer assistance and project leadership on special projects, as directed.

The full salary range for the Classroom and Events Space Coordinator is $63,558 - $101,602 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $80,356 annually.

We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.

Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
