Description
At Kapp Heights, precision mechanics work in mechanical engineering, toolmaking, or precision mechanics. They produce workpieces and components using manual and mechanical manufacturing processes. They apply standards and guidelines to ensure product quality. They measure and test mechanical and physical dimensions. If necessary, they perform maintenance and troubleshooting on their machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and servicing, troubleshooting and analysis
  • Assembly, modification, and commissioning of components and complete systems
  • Improving process workflows
  • Machining of components (turning, milling)
  • Production of system components (common welding methods, sheet metal processing)
  • Building and connecting electromechanical, pneumatic, and electronic controls

Requirements:

  • Interest in devices, machines, and systems
  • Manual dexterity and precise work
  • Good grades in mathematics and technical subjects
  • Sense of responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork
