Tuesday-Saturday 9-5pm

$ /hr depending upon experience

We are searching for a full time
Program Coordinator to lead our Activities Team here at
The Atrium of Veronica Drive Danvers, a Memory Care Community.

This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing and evaluating community programming to enhance resident's experience, while developing and cultivating relationships with current residents, families and with community organizations.

Working with the Programming staff, she/he understands resident interests and needs to design and deliver a comprehensive yet innovative activity program focused on the Six Dimensions of Wellness geared to establishing and maintaining Human Connection.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the Activities Staff to ensure proper execution of planned events
Overseeing scheduling of events, trips, meetings, rooms, and group functions
Developing, promoting, coordinating and overseeing community events
Editing, producing and distributing a monthly community newsletter
Participates in plan of care development
Responsible for all regulatory practices to meet State of CT, CMS and Benchmark Senior Living requirements.
Participates and supports the admission and discharge process.
Present and Engaged with residents and families meal service, family meetings, admissions and discharge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field
Therapeutic Recreation Director (TRD) Certification preferred, but not necessary.
Three years' experience in Assisted Living Memory Care.
Certification and/or Experience in Dementia Care preferred.
Flexible Schedule

- willing to work on weekends and holidays.
