Summary:

Assists the General Manager in providing high quality, courteous, efficient service to all guests, executes delegated responsibilities in employee training, scheduling, record keeping, report preparation and guest relations and serves as manager on duty when assigned.


Hilton experience preferred. Salary based on level of experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Participates in the selection, training and scheduling of staff.
  • Serves as manager on duty when assigned. Monitors workflow to minimize any backups that may occur and completes appropriate reports. Responds to guest complaints and maintains positive guest relations at all times.
  • Assists the General Manager in ensuring that all reports of revenue, expenses, labor, business volume, personnel payroll, food and Mart inventories and assets are maintained to specifications.
  • Supervises and assists the front desk staff in specific tasks of reservation management, room control, account receivable and yield management practices.
  • Assists the General Manager in ensuring that all policies and procedures, federal/state and local ordinances regarding personnel, security, cash handling, guest relations and safety are followed.
  • Participates in site sales and marketing activities such as sales action plan (letters, follow up telephone calls, sales appointments and cold calls).
  • Implements Breakfast and gift shop promotions, specials and employee incentive contests as well as other designated sales activities.
  • Maintains a wellgroomed, professional appearance. Extends hospitality and courtesy to guests and coworkers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by proper authority.
