JOB SUMMARY:

Sales Representatives sell products, goods, and services to new and existing customers.

They build relationships with customers, pitch products or services, negotiate sales prices, contact customers throughout the sales process, and answer any questions customers have about the product.

Sales Representatives find new sales leads through client referrals or cold calling. A Sales Representative directly assists customers and helps them find a product best suited for them.

The sales position is very competitive and performance-driven, meaning that Sales Representatives will have quotas and targets that they must meet or exceed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Maintain client accounts in addition to entering large amounts of data.
  • Assess, process, and manage sales orders.
  • Validate part numbers, pricing, and lead times, review contracts, RFQs, RFPs.
  • Collaborates with sales team to thoroughly comprehend the administrative and sales process.
  • Offers present and potential clients the technical knowledge they require.
  • Teaches less experienced team members how to handle more complicated client issues and concerns in order to enable or guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for handling difficult customer calls.
  • Sells goods and services via the phone or online (with quotas and/or productivity requirements).
  • For assigned accounts, administers product updates and agreement renewals as well as the proposal development processes.
  • Calls lists of potential clients to generate leads and manages the sales of thirdparty components and services.
  • Responds to regular sales leads from managers, sales representatives, our lead generation systems, marketplace system, or sales engineers.
  • Sells goods and/or services to businesses; makes sales calls; does product demonstrations; and creates sales documentation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education A Sales Representative must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. An associate's degree or higher in Aviation Management or relevant field is preferred. Years of experience may be considered as equivalent to a degree.
  • Sales Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional sales role. Experienced in the complex and prolonged sales process a plus.
  • Industry Related Experience aviation/aerospace industry preferred.
  • Negotiation & Quoting Experience
  • Negotiation and/or quoting experience or combination of these roles. The ability to create execution strategies accordingly. Strong negotiation, relationship building, and influencing skills plus.
  • Customer Service Experience
    Must have 2 years' customer service experience in a sales role. A positive, confident, selfmotivated attitude, strong business drive, and a keen interest in building longterm customer relationships. A superior ability to positively relate to and communicate with both internal and external customers.


  • Certification/Licenses

  • Any FAA license; Pilot (Private or Commercial), A&P, A&P IA a plus.

  • Computer Skills Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with experience with ERP software such as Corridor, Quantum, SAP, etc.

  • Ability to work autonomously, but also as part of a sales team.
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate a working knowledge of aircraft models/product lines.
  • Language Excellent written and verbal communication (English). Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
  • Effective and strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations.
  • Attend required sales meetings and training, on a regular basis.
