- Data Entry and Documentation:
- Input and maintain engineering data into Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
- Create and update documentation using process engineering procedures.
- Ensure the integrity and completeness of data by conducting regular reviews and audits of bill of materials.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with process engineers and other team members to gather necessary information for data entry.
- Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies and obtain clarification on data-related matters.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and adhere to data quality standards to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Identify and report any inconsistencies, errors, or issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with the process engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement related to data entry and documentation.
- Suggest and implement enhancements to streamline data management processes.
- Record Keeping:
- Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files for easy retrieval.
- Assist in archiving and purging outdated or irrelevant information.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in clerical data entry, preferably within a technical or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with basic engineering terminology and concepts is an advantage.
