The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a creative and talented individual for our Specialized Recruitment and Outreach Unit (SRU), which recruits statewide for all non-custody classifications in the Department. This hybrid telework based unit works in a fast-paced team setting to deliver exceptional customer service to those seeking Sate employment, internal employees wanting to take their career to the next level and assisting programs, institutions and hiring managers seeking to fill open vacancies. As part of the team you will proactively engage with internal and external partners to execute full scale sourcing and recruitment, social media marketing and graphics, data gathering and analytic review and consistent communicative feedback.

Working Conditions


This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely.

Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process. Telework is only available to residents of California.

In person attendance and/or reimbursed travel (statewide and possibly overnight) to vendor partner or various CDCR sites for conferences, meetings, training and recruiting events may be required.

Possible overtime and outside of weekday work hours may be required per program needs.
