Global Equity Plan Specialist - Spring, United States - Hewlett Packard
Description
Reconciliation of equity plans and shares of stock will be the main focus- Journal entries and cashflow
- Assist employees with inquiries about the equity programs
- Provide equity reports to Finance team and vendors
- Prepare and/or review Intercompany Billings
- Fulfill report requests for international entities for their statutory audits, tax filings and financial close
- Document processes, prepare process improvement evaluation and recommendation as well as lead improvement implementation for all facets related to stock equity
- Provide support for ad hoc analyses and other projects as needed
- Assist in gathering materials requested for audits
- Collaborate closely with multifunctional teams consisting of IT, People Org, Legal, Payroll, Tax, and thirdparty vendors
- Acts as liaison to various internal and external business partners within different global time zones
- Backup and job rotation of other functions within the Global Equity team. Other functions may include Insider Trading, daily operations, grant load reconciliations, special projects, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, etc...
_ Education and Experience Required:
_
- First level university degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically 24 years related experience or advanced university degree and 12 years experience.
- CEP Level 1 certified preferred.
_ Knowledge and Skills:
_
- Strong reconciliation skills of large data sets
- Intermediate knowledge of the field of stock administration or financial analysis obtained through directly related experience and specialized courses.
- Good verbal and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, sumif)
- Always display professional behavior. Must be selfmotivated and willing to continue to grow and learn. This is a demanding role requiring long hours at times, but it is also a very satisfying and rewarding role.
