AMCi - Wireless, located in Houston TX is a leading provider of remote telemetry and control equipment. We are seeking phone and chat technical support personnel.Training will be at our North West Houston facility. Once training is complete and level of competency have been reached, working remotely may be an option.
Suitable applicants from out of state will be considered.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide quality technical support service through onecall resolution whenever possible
- Accurately respond to questions and assist customers with product features, installation, setup, troubleshooting and hardware operations
- Assist Technical Operations to determine call types, failure trending, and diagnostic improvements to provide a higher level of technical support
- Maintaining a professional demeanor, behavior, and conduct
- Effectively work with peers in a team focused environment
- Other duties as required; this list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all duties and responsibilities assigned to this position
Education and Experience
- A.A.S. in electronics or related field preferred.
- Ideally 2 years in a technical support environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous technical experience required with DC circuits
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Disciplined accurate note entry and record keeping
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Strong organizational, time management, and problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Skype, Teams, and phone apps.
- The ability to type efficiently on a keyboard.
Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
