Responsibilities

As a Senior Buyer (w/m/d), you will work on the strategic assortment design in ecommerce for the furniture sector (e.g. upholstered furniture, beds, garden furniture, etc.) or specialty assortments (e.g. boutique, cookshop, baby assortments, etc.)
You will be responsible for the KPIs of your product group (revenue, contribution margin, inventory level, etc.) and keep them in mind at all times
You will build strategic relationships with our suppliers and producers and negotiate and prepare economic decision data
Regular meetings with suppliers, trade fair visits, and travel are part of your daily business
You will continuously coordinate with other purchasing and category management teams within the XXXL Group on market trends, innovations, and best practices
Together with the junior buyers in your department, you will analyze competitors, create themed worlds, and develop targeted costsaving potentials in purchasing
You will receive operational support from the junior buyers and purchasing assistants in your product group
