Description

The main responsibility of a foreman is to oversee operations at a worksite to ensure their team is working safely and efficiently.

Their duty is to address any job site concerns, ensure safe working environments, communicate with construction workers and supervisors, coordinate tasks and production schedules, and train other employees.

A foreman communicates clearly and possesses great analytical and leadership skills.

COSTAL PAINTING CONTRACTORS is looking to fulfill our Painter Foreman position in Sarasota/Tampa area.

If you have experience in commercial residential or industrial, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead by example, this position at our company could be the perfect fit.

Requirements:

• Assign tasks to crew members
• Supervise construction workers
• Monitor progress on the project
• Ensure project stays within budget
• Serve as a communicator between workers and supervisors

• Excellent verbal and written communication ability
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Timemanagement skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to understand drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Ability to lift weights to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptionally responsible
• Great communication and leadership skills, English and Spanish preferred.
• Able to oversee all operations at a worksite and ensure a safe work environment

Basic requirements

• Proven experience as a foreman
• Own and drive a Reliable transportation
• Must have valid documents to work in the USA

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

- residential and commercial painting: 3 years (preferred)


Language:

• Spanish (preferred)
• English (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (required)
