    Patient Types:

    Inpatient/Outpatient/ER:
    some peds (experience not needed), approximately 2-3 a month, usually teenagers; general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head

    Procedural:
    biopsies, drains


    Patient Ratios:
    1:1


    Required Certifications:
    BLS, ARRT-CT
    Skills required
    General CT experience from a hospital setting, experience with the above patient types, experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred)

    Support on the Unit:
    Other CT techs
    Radiology RNs
    RRT, Code Blue team
    Centralized transport

    Charting System:

    EPIC

    Floating:

    3 shifts to learn the flow
