What you'll do:

As an Analyst in Media Technology, you'll oversee Web-marketing campaign execution, quality assurance, and daily trafficking tasks for online ad campaigns.

Day to day, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Obtaining creative/technical specifications from sites on all creative units, including pixel sizes, technical capabilities, and traffic deadlines specific to site
  • Assigning and tagging creative elements within the ad server per creative rotation instructions, testing them, and guiding partners on tag/code implementation to ensure campaign integrity
  • Verifying the quality of all campaign elements by confirming that creative units, placements, clickthrough URLs, and click commands are accurate before campaign launch; also crosschecking the input of all data into third-party systems
  • Assisting in developing trafficking timelines for the team and collaborating with internal teams on day-to-day operations
  • Ensuring new placements have launched successfully by confirming with sites and internal agency teams, and troubleshooting any potential issues in getting creatives, tags, and pixels live
  • Performing weekly QA and documenting all creative units, placements, URLs, commands, backend tags/pixels, and impression delivery
  • Collaborating with brand safety partners and monitoring reporting as necessary to comply with client specifications
  • Identifying recurring issues, informing the Manager of specific problems and potential solutions
  • Gaining proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Campaign Manager (third-party ad server), and other ad servers and technology platforms as needed
  • Staying informed about industry news and innovations by attending and engaging in vendor presentations to assess them for potential agency utilization

Qualifications

  • Completion of a four-year college education and one to three years of experience in an office setting (preferably in a communications-related company, ideally in an agency environment)
  • Proficient computer skills (especially in Microsoft Office) that impress even the seasoned professionals, along with an innate grasp of the digital tools shaping the media and advertising landscape daily
  • Strong time management, exceptional attention to detail, and an innate ability to stay organized
  • Excellent communication skills - direct, honest, and, above all, considerate and empathetic
  • Passion for media and marketing - an inquisitiveness that drives you to ask questions and a determination to learn and enhance in all your endeavors
Got what it takes? We're eager to hear from you.
