    At Fit City Kids, we combine open play areas, fitness classes and training, and parties and events to create new and unique programming tailored for children ages 6 months to 12 years old, offering something valuable for the whole family. As a start-up, there is ample room for professional growth and the opportunity to significantly influence our direction and initiatives.

    Job Summary:

    Fit City Kids seeks a skilled Front Desk Team Member to handle receptionist and secretarial tasks at our main entrance. This role serves as the initial point of contact with clients, managing essential administrative duties like answering queries, routing calls, welcoming visitors, and processing payments for classes. We require a candidate who is sociable, thrives in a team environment, and enjoys interacting with children and families.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in a comparable position
    • Familiarity with office administration and fundamental bookkeeping practices
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Proficiency in Customer Relations Management software (JackRabbit knowledge preferred)
    • Proficient in MS Office applications

    Job Duties:

    • Warmly greet and provide excellent customer service to guests
    • Maintain a safe, orderly, and inviting facility environment
    • Address parent queries, requests, and issues effectively
    • Ensure smooth implementation of guest registration, payments, and check-ins on a daily basis
    • Actively promote Fit City Kids programs to parents
    • Keep the front desk organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies like pens, paper, and updated forms
    • Guide participants to appropriate class locations
    • Respond to customer inquiries and incoming calls promptly
    • Forward calls to the relevant department or take messages as needed
    • Monitor, organize, and manage incoming emails efficiently
    • Receive and distribute letters and packages to the appropriate departments
