Handle structural design projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely and efficient delivery within allocated budgets.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices to develop structurally sound designs that meet project requirements and comply with industry standards.
Execute precise budget management strategies by meticulously estimating project costs, monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding quality standards and design integrity.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies and processes to develop innovative structural designs that align with project goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Utilize expert-level knowledge of construction materials, including their mechanical properties and performance characteristics, to optimize structural performance, longevity, and cost-efficiency in design solutions.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies, fostering strong working relationships and clear communication channels to address design challenges, coordinate project requirements, and achieve project objectives seamlessly.
What You Need for this Position3-7 years of experience in consulting engineering.
Degree in civil or structural engineering.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and professionals from various disciplines.
Attention to detail and superb organizational skills are a must.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
You'll need experience with 3D modeling software like AutoCAD and Revit.
Familiarity with structural engineering tools such as RISA or Autodesk Robot is a plus.
Opportunity to work directly with a licensed engineer to obtain a PE license.
Ability to travel to field sites.
