is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant
to join our growing team in San Francisco, CA**. This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday from 6:30am-2:30pm, with rotating weekends. If you have your CPT, and are looking to gain experience, this is a great opportunity for you


Job Purpose:

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients' health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care.

You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.


Essential Functions and Accountabilities:


  • Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
  • Follow proper protocols for all procedures
  • Practice phlebotomy
  • Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
  • Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
  • Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
  • Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
  • Specimen collection, processing for inhouse and outside laboratories.
  • Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Academic Training:

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred

  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
Phlebotomy Program - CPT1 License Required

  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:


  • 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
  • Prior experience in women's healthcare preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel required
  • EMR experience preferred
