Business Ops Project Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Supports the execution of strategic plans for the improvement and optimization of business processes and capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead process to identify, define & prioritize business requirements.
  • Own Business Project Cycle from inception to close:
  • Capture business needs and submit enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other teams to size projects (return/investment).
  • Tracking IT development and support as required.
  • Identify risks/mitigation plans throughout Project Cycle.
  • Influence project schedule and manage stakeholders' expectations.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing activities.
  • Hand off project to Business SME after IT development & release.
  • Collaborates with various departments to ensure that processes and capabilities are integrated seamlessly into the broader organization.
  • Utilizes standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches.
  • Utilizes data analytics and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
  • Represent team in short
- & long-term project planning processes within the business.

  • Tracks performance metrics and KPIs for processes and capabilities and provides insights for improvement.
  • Ensures that all processes and capabilities are aligned with the strategic objectives and adapt to changing business needs.
Education and Experience Required

  • Fouryear or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence (e.g. Leading IT Projects)
  • 47 years of work experience, preferably in business operations, business process improvement, change management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 35 years of work experience.
  • Project management related certifications are a plus.
Knowledge And Skills

  • Knowledge of eCommerce business fundamentals and eCommerce infrastructures.
  • Experience with Project/Program management practices, processes, and tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with product management, systems integrations, and project prioritization.
  • Analytical thinking, ability to analyze and manipulate data using Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively collaborate with virtual teams.
  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines.
  • Ability to lead group of individuals, influence, and drive consensus.
