Tasks and Process

As a specialist in warehouse logistics, you will be responsible for the efficient and organized operation of the warehouse. After completing your apprenticeship, you will work in the area of logistical planning and organization, and will be responsible not only for receiving, picking, and storing goods, but also for packaging and transportation. Through your work, you will make an active contribution to the efficiency and profitability of our warehouse areas, and thus to the success of our company. During your apprenticeship, you will learn all about logistical processes. You will be trained in the use of computer systems and gain knowledge in the areas of occupational safety and environmental protection.

Requirements and Duration of Apprenticeship

You will need a good secondary school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship. The regular apprenticeship lasts for 3 years. With good theoretical and practical performance during your apprenticeship, or with a corresponding level of education, you can be granted early admission to the IHK final exam. This will shorten your apprenticeship to 2.5 years.
