The hours are
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday.

Job Summary/Description:

Ensure physical documentation is accounted for according to Medicaid/Medicare and organizational guidelines to facilitate payment for services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to):

Locates and retrieves records to accurately audit and verify patient information.
Updates client charts with information in a timely manner.
Audits charts, records, and record documentation deficiencies for attending physicians to correct.
Track location of charts using appropriate software.
Respond to information requests either in person or by telephone in a timely manner.
As requested, locate and make ready charts or information from charts in a timely manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma

CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Basic office software

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience

They will be helping with different projects such as:

1. They will have a training class for our Electronic Medical Records system.

2. Reviewing data in the Electronic Medical Records systems from reports and spread sheets.

3. Reviewing document and scanning into the Electronic Medical Records system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
