    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    Soliant seeking a dedicated and experienced School Nurse to provide 1:1 support for constant monitoring and care to a student in need. The School Nurse will be responsible for closely monitoring the student's condition and providing necessary interventions such as suctioning, monitoring for overheating/cooling, and assisting with tube feeding duties.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide constant monitoring and assessment of the student's condition during school hours.
    • Administer suctioning as needed to maintain airway patency.
    • Monitor for signs of overheating or cooling and take appropriate action to ensure student fort and safety.
    • Assist with tube feeding duties, including administration of feeds and monitoring for any plications.
    • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement a prehensive care plan for the student.
    • Document all care provided and municate effectively with the school team.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid nursing license in New Hampshire.
    • Previous experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred.
    • Strong clinical skills and ability to assess and respond to changes in student condition.
    • Knowledge of suctioning procedures, tube feeding protocols, and methods for monitoring student temperature.
    • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Current CPR certification.
