Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clerk.

Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate parties or take messages
File and retrieve department documents and reports
Greet visitors and assist with inquiries and/or supply requests
Perform a variety of administrative duties such as taking and delivering messages, making copies, faxing documents, scanning documents and ordering supplies
Assisting supervisors with inventory managemente such as cycle counting and charge outs
Running ad hoc unit supply requests directly to the nursing floors when needed
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking supplies or other reports
Performs tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving and distribution strongly preferred
Good written and oral communication skills
Basic math skills required ( Simple Sums)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $41, $46,359.60 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
