This position is for Essai Test Solutions, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantest America, Inc. located in Fremont, CA and Phoenix, AZ.

This position is for


DAY SHIFT:
6AM - 2:30PM

  • Executive manufacturing inprocess precision parts metrology and visual inspection of metal and plastics parts as well as material specification verification as required,
  • Perform inspections of production parts in realtime. These may include mechanical components, subassembly, and assembly and systemlevel products per drawing.
  • Transact (Post in/out) in Microsoft Dynamic NAV and Quality System for traceability and accurate inventory of material in IQA/FQA area.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, QA and Operations teams on assigned continuous improvement projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on customer and/or business requirements.

Requirements:


  • Certified Mechanical Inspector or 5 years prior work experience in related field within manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with GD&T, basic math, read/understand mechanical drawings and mechanical tools.
  • Ability to complete/manage tasks/assignments/inspection accurately and ontime results.
  • Adapt to quick direction change, resultoriented, driven, selfstarter, a team player, that will thrive in an organization. And the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Basic MS-Office computer skills
  • Able to sit work at the computer and microscope for extended periods.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to stoop, kneel and bend at the waist on a daily basis when needed.
