    The role:


    This role is an exciting opportunity within Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) for an IT Delivery Manager with a passion to make this pivotal role their own, providing exceptional planning and delivery of an IT program across the business.

    Based at our brand-new Head Office in Mulgrave, you will be the driver of all DTFS Australia IT related change and improvement projects.

    Leading and mentoring a small team with the goal of continually developing their IT delivery capability, you will continue to provide exceptional service and collaboration with all stakeholders.

    Reporting to the CIO, your key responsibilities will be:

    Develop and maintain the IT Technology roadmap, outlining key projects and activities required to meet specific targets

    Allocating resources including budget, personnel, and equipment, across different projects within the IT program

    Identifying and developing risk management strategies associated with the IT program

    Guide the delivery team to generate regular reports and updates for stakeholders to provide visibility into IT project status and outcomes

    Lead and manage a team of IT project managers, business analysts, testers, and other staff

    Provide leadership and guidance to members both inside and out of your team on best practices, innovation and change management along with individual development plans

    Communicate, status updates and key milestones to senior management in order to align stakeholder expectations with IT goals

    Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress and success of IT projects

    Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation to drive ongoing improvement and optimization

    Having a key role developing the organic growth of improvement & change initiatives across the business

    Qualifications


    Who we are looking for:


    The ideal candidate should boast extensive experience as a senior IT Project and Program Manager, showcasing adept leadership skills geared towards effectively guiding teams, and now eager to transition into a role that will shape and lead a delivery function.

    They should demonstrate prowess in managing multiple IT vendors and internal stakeholders, with a focus on prioritizing timely and cost-efficient outcomes.

    Ideally, candidates will have successfully navigated complex IT environments, refining their expertise in project scheduling, resource allocation, planning, and reporting.

    Essential qualifications include a robust understanding and practical application of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, coupled with post-graduate credentials in IT/Project Management.

    Furthermore, a discerning eye for spotting opportunities and mitigating risks will be pivotal for thriving in this role.

    Your ability to manage stakeholders at various levels, ability to build relationships and work across various business units to bring people and ideas together to form a singular objective is essential to your success in this role.

    You will be comfortable mentoring and developing direct reports with a goal of increasing capability and are comfortable leading large workshops to drive business outcomes.
