    Mammography Tech

    Location: Garden City, NY

    Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday

    Contract Assignment

    Required:

    • AART (R)
    • NYS State License (Mammo)
    • Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis training document
    • 200 documented Mammo cases in the last 24 months
    • Documentation of Didactic Training

    Description:

    Winston is seeking a Mammography Tech to join our team in Garden City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography. This is a temporary position; the tech will not be required to perform procedures beyond screening/diagnostic mammography. The site performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging as well as Core Biopsies, Stereotactic Biopsies, Mag Seed, and SaviScout placement. The site utilizes Hologic Mammography units and handles approximately 10-15 cases daily.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography.
    • Ensure proper documentation of all procedures.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
    • Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.

    Qualifications:

    • AART (R) required
    • NYS State License (Mammo) required
    • Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis training document required
    • 200 documented Mammo cases in the last 24 months
    • Documentation of Didactic Training

    Work Environment:

    • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday
    • Gray Scrubs (not provided)
