    Mammography Technician

    Location: Garden City, NY

    Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday

    Contract Assignment

    Required:

    • AART (R)
    • NYS State License (Mammo)
    • Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis training document
    • 200 documented Mammo cases in the last 24 months
    • Documentation of Didactic Training

    Description:

    Join our team in Garden City as a Mammography Technician at Winston. Responsible for conducting screening and diagnostic mammography. This is a temporary role focusing solely on mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic mammography, Core Biopsies, Stereotactic Biopsies, Mag Seed, and SaviScout placement. Equipment used includes Hologic Mammography units with an average of 10-15 daily cases handled.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Work collaboratively with healthcare team members.

    Qualifications:

    • AART (R) certification required
    • NYS State License (Mammo) required
    • Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis training document required
    • 200 documented Mammo cases in the last 24 months
    • Documentation of Didactic Training

    Work Environment:

    • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday
    • Attire: Gray Scrubs (not provided)
