Job Overview:


Duties:


  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Set up user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with software installations and upgrades.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution of technical problems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and cloud issues to ensure smooth operations of our customers.
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
  • Perform handson fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined.
  • Document all support activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Skills and Experience:


  • Strong knowledge of IT support principles and practices.
  • Strong technical support skills with proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Proficiency in desktop support, including Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).
  • Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and management.
  • Experience with the following Cloud technologies
  • Office365, Teams, Onedrive, and Sharepoint Online.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices (iOS, Android) and their troubleshooting.
  • Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP.
  • Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO) for user management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.

Requirements:


  • Excellent problemsolving skills with a detailoriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility, a proactive and positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to provide oncall support on a rotational basis, including occasional weekend, emergency, and evening work.
  • 12 years of tech support experience.
  • 12 years of customer service experience.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred and/or at least two years of equivalent work experience. Previous experience in a similar IT support role is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications a plus: Microsoft, A+, Network +, CCNA, are a plus.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.

Pay:
$40, $50,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
