With a start date of September 1st and November 1st, you can begin your one-year training as a nursing assistant at our in-house nursing school at Helios Klinikum Krefeld.


What to expect

  • Assignments in the inpatient sector (in hospitals), in nursing homes, and in the outpatient sector (e.g. social stations)
  • Participation in health promotion and support of people of all ages with nursing support needs
  • Developing a professional self-concept and coping with professional requirements
  • Independent learning and active participation in classes
  • Theory: approx. 700 hours in block system, class teacher principle
  • Practice: approx. 950 hours supported by practice instructors
What you bring
  • At least a secondary school leaving certificate
  • Ideally, you have already completed an internship in nursing
  • You have a dedicated, reliable, and team-oriented character who enjoys helping people
  • You have an interest in medicine
