Description
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Assembling and wiring industrial control panels, electro-mechanical subassemblies, and major assemblies.
- Reading and interpreting complex schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Building control panels according to layouts and specifications, ensuring adherence to UL 508A standards.
- Testing and inspecting completed panels for functionality and quality.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Contributing to a collaborative and safetyfocused environment.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- 35 years of experience building electrical panels, electrical installations, or similar roles involving wiring, assembly, and testing.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical principles and control systems.
- Strong understanding of UL 508A standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
- The ability to identify electrical components by name and function.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to work independently and take direction.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- The ability to lift 35 lbs.
