- Demonstrates expertise in commercial insurance coverages, evaluates submissions from retail insurance brokers, and identifies exposures and coverage needed.
- Assesses risk exposures and coverage requirements from broker submissions, strategically placing risks with optimal carriers.
- Determines appropriate insurance markets for quote requests, secures quotes, and manages the placement process as per broker and market agreements.
- Analyzes and negotiates favorable quotes terms for coverage and pricing, explaining quote details to brokers to facilitate binding decisions.
- Generates leads through outbound calls, analyzes online and phone quote activity, and identifies business expansion opportunities.
- Drives revenue growth and development of personal book of business through assigned sales targets.
- Collaborates with retail agencies and brokerage, acting as a key liaison between insurance markets and retail brokers, addressing their needs.
- Ensures meticulous account management by attaching and maintaining all necessary documents for the appropriate policy and account.
- Participates in assigned educational courses, professional designations, and licensing programs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wholesale brokerage, Commercial insurance coverages, Sales, or Underwriting with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree.
