Description

The California Energy Commission Executive Office seeks an exceptional individual to join the leadership support team and serve as the travel advisor for the Executive Office and five Commissioners.

The travel advisor works independently to schedule, coordinate, and manage individual and group travel; and assist with the development of workload and planning standards, staffing requirements, and discretionary/travel budgets.

Working Conditions

The CEC supports a hybrid workplace model with office
- and remote-based workers. In-person attendance and occasional travel may be required based on the needs of the division. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to successful performance. This position is remote-based, which means the incumbent works 50 percent or more of their time from an alternate work location.

  • The CEC was established by the Legislature in 1974 to address energy challenges facing the state. Today, the CEC is the state's primary energy policy and planning agency leading the state to a 100% clean energy future.     3) Provide an example of a time you prepared a written update or summary report of your work tasks. Include who your audience was, the tools you used, and how you gauged your progress.
