Description

We are currently looking for talented professionals for our renowned client in the mechanical engineering industry, located in Hamburg. The position as Project Engineer (m/f/d) in temporary employment for 36 months with the option of permanent employment, could be just the right fit for you.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead product development projects / plant structure projects in the Operations department
You will provide advice on product development and develop guidelines for cost-effective and efficient design
You will lead production and structure projects and monitor the implementation of new vehicles
You will optimize existing assembly and production processes using Lean methodologies
You will plan new production concepts and processes and adapt workstations accordingly
You will conduct "Make or Buy" analyses as decision templates

YOUR PROFILE

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering
You have several years of relevant professional experience in industrial engineering and/or factory planning
Ideally, you already have knowledge of MTM
You are an expert in Lean principles and methods
You are assertive and have strong communication skills
You are characterized by independent action and personal responsibility
