Summary:
The Amarillo VA Health Care System in Texas is looking for a Physician (Nephrologist) to oversee patients with renal conditions, assessments, and medication management within the organization. A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be offered to a highly qualified candidate.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
Authorized Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year
Retirement: Traditional federal pension and 401K
Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
CME: Possible $1,000 reimbursement per year

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure and Registration: Current full license
- Residency Training: Completion of approved residency training program
- English Language Proficiency
Preferred Experience: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology, 2+ years of experience treating renal conditions
Reference: VA Regulations, VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Appendix G-2 Physician Qualification Standard
Physical Requirements:
Moderate to light lifting, walking, standing, bending, excellent vision, and clear speech.
