Primary Responsibilities:


The primary purpose of this position is to establish a phone connection between live and interested "leads" (individuals looking for health insurance or other services) and "customers" (health insurance agents or other lead buyers).


Essential Job Duties:


  • Receive incoming calls and make outbound calls using the provided dialer software
  • Adhere to Quality Analytics and script requirements while conversing with leads
  • When the requirements for a Live Transfer are met, transfer the call and bill the customer using NextGen's platform
  • Maintain company standards during recorded calls in order to ensure high quality service
  • Meet minimum performance quotas as defined by the LTA I position metrics

Essential Skills/Abilities:


  • Ability to serve a constant stream of customers during assigned shift hours
  • Ability to deal with angry or frustrated customers, or customers who may not fully understand their situation
  • Ability to deal with people in an uplifting manner, good phone etiquette
  • Outgoing, upbeat personality
  • Ability to solve customer problems
  • Ability to be a quick thinker, research and troubleshoot
  • Ability to meet required goals and quotas
  • Intermediate technical abilities including typing and computer & phone systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Previous phone customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and efficiently
  • Basic computer skills

Technical Abilities:


  • Familiar with NGL technologies and the ability to use the functionality of such systems
  • Typing 50 WPM
  • Understanding basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software functionality.

Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED Required
