Duration of apprenticeship: 3.5 years Vocational school: Bamberg Basic and specialized training in the field of metal processing Maintenance, repair and fault analysis of programmable machines and production systems Production of complex components using conventional and CNC-controlled machining machines Familiarization with various production technologies, control technology, PLC and robotics Setting up and operating modern production systems and machining centers Assembly, commissioning and optimization of systems Conducting quality controls Intermediate school leaving certificate or good qualifying certificate from secondary school Interest in natural science subjects such as mathematics, physics and technology Manual dexterity Teamwork skills
